The emulator enables an internal SCR/DPF system test controlled by the Engine ECM.  Engine torque reduction is automatically disabled, eliminating the need for special diagnostic tools. Simply install the device, bring the engine up to temperature, and all errors will clear to inactive. If fault code 4585 appears, it means the engine has not yet surpassed 50 hours of operation since new.
