EMRT Diagtech: Solutions for Diesel Emissions System Challenges

Struggling with SCR or DPF System Faults?

Modern diesel engines rely on complex after-treatment systems like SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction / AdBlue) and DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) to meet emissions standards. However, failures within these systems are a frequent source of frustration for operators across Australia and new Zealand, often leading to:

  • Engine Limp Mode: Reduced power and torque, severely impacting vehicle performance.

  • Costly Downtime: Hours or even days lost while diagnosing faults, sourcing parts, performing repairs, and resetting the ECU.

  • Reduced Productivity: Delays in operations, whether on the road, on the farm, or on the worksite.

EMRT Emulators - Simulating Healthy Emissions Systems:

Our advanced electronic emulators are designed to interface directly with your vehicle's CAN network. They work by simulating the signals of a correctly functioning SCR or DPF system.

  • How it Helps: In situations where the physical SCR or DPF system components are faulty or damaged, the emulator can provide the ECU with the expected operational data. This can prevent the engine from entering limp mode, allowing for continued operation and maintaining productivity.

  • Potential Applications: Useful as a diagnostic tool or in specific circumstances (e.g., troubleshooting, temporary use in off-highway machinery where permissible) to bypass immediate operational halts caused by emissions system faults.

EMRT DTC Fault Code Cleaner - Quick Resets When You Need Them:

Fault codes related to emissions systems can trigger warnings and restrict vehicle operation. Our DTC Cleaner is a simple, plug-and-play solution for specific situations:

  • Clear Inactive Codes: Acts like a "Clear All" function for inactive stored fault codes within the ECU, potentially resolving nuisance warnings.

  • Reset Limp Mode Timers: If an SCR or related system fault triggers a limp mode countdown, the DTC Cleaner may reset this timer, allowing the operator to move the vehicle to a suitable location for service or complete an urgent off-highway task.

  • User-Friendly: No diagnostic knowledge is needed – simply plug it in.

  • Important Note: The DTC Cleaner cannot clear codes related to active, physical faults. It's a tool for managing inactive codes and limp mode timers only.

Flexibility for Diagnostics and Temporary Use:

Both EMRT Emulators and DTC Cleaners can serve as valuable tools in specific diagnostic scenarios or as temporary measures when immediate repairs aren't feasible. Once the underlying fault in the emissions system has been properly rectified using OEM procedures, these devices can be removed, restoring the vehicle to its standard operating condition.

Regulatory Compliance:

  • Purchaser Responsibility: Modifying vehicle emissions control systems is subject to strict local, state, territory, or country laws and regulations. It is entirely the purchaser's responsibility to understand and ensure compliance with all relevant laws for their specific vehicle and application.

  • Intended Use: These products are supplied for diagnostic purposes, temporary fault finding, or for use on vehicles/engines in applications where such modifications are legally permissible (e.g., potentially certain dedicated off-road machinery, stationary engines, or specific testing scenarios). Use on vehicles intended for operation on public roads may be illegal.

  • Disclaimer: EMRT Diagtech P/L is not responsible for the misuse of these products or for ensuring the purchaser's compliance with local and national regulations. By purchasing, the customer acknowledges their responsibility regarding regulatory adherence and waives any related claims against EMRT Diagtech Pty Ltd.
