This specialized, heavy-duty diagnostic splitter is an essential workshop tool required to successfully commission the EMRT Quick Connect (QC) SCR/DPF emulator on late-model Scania trucks (2024 models onwards running the Euro 6 Step E / EEC4 control unit). Because this generation of Scania architecture locks down emission parameters, this inline adapter acts as a secure communication bridge, allowing the engine ECU to run its vital baseline learning sequence and register the emulator data profile before permanent installation.

Workflow / Commissioning Procedure
Disconnect the vehicle's original downstream NOx sensor plug and insert this splitter inline.
Connect your new EMRT QC Emulator module to the open auxiliary port on the splitter loom.
Initiate and complete the factory value learning/adaptation procedure in the EEC4 engine ECU.
Once the diagnostic software confirms a successful adaptation, remove the splitter tool completely.
Finish the job by mounting and plugging the emulator permanently in place of the factory module.
 
⚠️ Critical Workshop Note
This adapter is strictly required for the initial setup phase of the Scania EEC4 QC Emulator kit. Skipping this baseline learning procedure means the ECU will reject the new data signal, preventing the emulator from operationalizing and leaving the truck in an active derate or fault status.
